My Five Senses - Aliki

Another stunning book to share with you with illustrations by Aliki - My Five Senses, I love the limited color palette and the bold simplistic illustrations.
This book was published in 1962 a newer version is available with a different style of illustrations.

I love these books, infact I've been collecting them for my shop, when it opens (!). I haven't got this one, great colours. I've got a bit of a thing for the 60s at the moment

I love Aliki and wish she kept her original style. It was so iconic and simple. I have a lot of her books, but never saw this one. Thanks for the great post!

Lovely! I love her illustrations and I had not seen this one before. The original looks much better than that newer version.

Such a contemporary style of illustration - and a wonderful colour palette. I wish my science textbooks were as beautifully illustrated as this!
